Whether or not wood is clean or dirty pretty much boils down to whether the wood has been pressure treated, painted, or if it does not have too many metal fragments in it. Nails, screws and staples are generally fine.

  • Lumber, pallets, fencing, plywood, and lumber used for cement forms. Small amounts of metal affixed to the lumber such as nails or hinges are acceptable.ย
  • NO painted and pressure treated lumber, NO excessive amount of treated wood waste, NO plastics
  • Any copious amounts of contamination will automatically be designated as trash
